The Yeti


The Yeti is a small DIY venue. The Yeti is a brunch restaurant during the day which is our main business.

Room rental: $150 - pay via etransfer: Payment is due upon event date confirmation and is non-refundable.

Private party rental is $50/hr (4 hour minimum) with $500 guarantee in bar sales

Load-in 6PM // Doors 8PM // Showtime 8:30PM-11PM

There is free parking in the covered lot across the street

For musicians interested in booking a show at The Yeti, they must be able to fill the venue on their own. There is no passive or walk-by audience and people will only be there if they are coming to see you. The marketing for the show is the responsibility of the artist.

The capacity is 40. The Yeti has a liquor license. All ages can attend.

The Yeti has a good PA system: mixer (4 channels + 2 stereo channels Allen & Heath ZED-10FX), 2 x QSC CP8 speakers, sub-woofer & mic stands. Bring your own mics. Bands set up the PA and do their own sound. We don’t provide a sound person but we can help with set up. The bartender may need help moving tables and chairs outside and back inside at the end of the event. The furniture can be arranged for your show ranging from no furniture to all seated.

The artist takes 100% of the door. If you think your event will sell out, best to sell advance tickets. We can also take ticket payment at the bar. The amount payable would be e-transferred to you on Monday. Make arrangements with the bartender.

We ask that artists don’t have another show in the tri-city area (Kitchener- Waterloo-Cambridge) within two weeks on either end of the date of the Yeti show.
